The Phoenix College Bears Women's Soccer continued their strong season with a commanding 4–0 victory on the road against Paradise Valley Community College on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bears controlled the match from start to finish, outshooting the Pumas 34–0 and earning nine corner kicks while allowing no shots on goal.
Camille Harris led the attack with two goals, including a key strike in the 44th minute to give Phoenix College a 2–0 lead going into halftime. Carmen Coronado opened the scoring in the 38th minute off an assist from Kiara Sanchez, while Amaya Hernandez added a goal early in the second half. Harris secured her brace in the 68th minute, assisted by Hernandez.
Coronado paced the offense with 14 shots and 1 goal, while Harris finished with 4 shots and 2 goals. Phoenix College saw 18 shots on goal, forcing PVCC's goalkeeper to make 14 saves.
The Bears' defense remained rock-solid, not allowing a single shot, as goalkeepers Bijou Holm and Lala Carachure combined for the clean sheet.
Phoenix College improves to 12-1, while PVCC falls to 3-7-3.
The Bears return to action on October 18th at Chandler-Gilbert as they continue conference play.
