Phoenix, Ariz. — Phoenix College sophomore midfielder Carmen Coronado has been honored as the NJCAA Division II Women's Soccer Player of the Week, after a dominant week in which she was directly involved in nine of the Bears' goals.

Coronado was instrumental on both ends of the pitch, contributing goals and assists while locking down the center of the field to help the Bears post a shutout win over No. 7 Scottsdale.

2025-26 Season Snapshot

Through the first four matches of the season, Coronado has already tallied:

• 5 goals and 6 assists (16 total points)

• 14 shots with a .357 shot percentage

• 9 shots on goal (.643 SOG%)

She has started all four games and has been a key engine in the Bears' undefeated start (2-0-2 overall, 2-0-1 ACCAC).
