MESA, Ariz. – The Phoenix College track & field team delivered a strong showing at the Carvel Jackson Memorial Meet on March 27, highlighted by multiple personal records and solid finishes across events at Mesa Community College.
Milan Kaur led the way for the Bears with a pair of standout performances. She placed 9th in the women's triple jump with a mark of 9.77 meters (32-0.75) and added a 13th-place finish in the 100m hurdles, clocking a personal-record time of 16.51.
Evelyn Osorina also recorded a personal best, finishing 19th with a time of 2:36.17 in her event, continuing to show progress as the season unfolds.
Freshman Sy'nai Ajayi had an impressive day on the track, notching two personal records. She finished 23rd in the 100m dash with a time of 13.20 and followed it up with a 32nd-place finish in the 200m dash, crossing the line in 27.48.
On the men's side, Landon Vree posted a strong performance in the 100m dash, placing 14th with a time of 11.03. Teammate Jeremiah Qualls also competed in the event, finishing 19th and setting a personal record with a time of 11.10.
