Phoenix, AZ — The historic 2025 season for Phoenix College Men's Soccer reached another milestone as the Bears earned four selections to the NJCAA All-American teams, including a nation-leading three First Team All-Americans. No other program in the country matched Phoenix College's presence at the top of the list, reinforcing the Bears' status as one of the premier teams in the NJCAA.
Leading the way were Cruzeiro Cruz, Kosei Sasaki, and Jan Villegas, all named First Team All-Americans after standout seasons that helped guide Phoenix College to a 21-1-1 record, an undefeated home slate, and a dominant 13-1 conference finish.
First Team All-Americans
Cruzeiro Cruz
A driving force in the midfield, Cruz delivered one of the most complete seasons in the nation. He finished with 7 goals, 7 assists, and 21 points, while posting an impressive 69% shots-on-goal rate. His creativity, consistency, and leadership were central to the Bears' attacking identity.
Kosei Sasaki
The cornerstone of the Bears' defensive unit, Sasaki started all 23 matches and anchored a back line that allowed just 15 goals all season. He contributed offensively as well, scoring 3 goals and recording an 88.9% shots-on-goal rate, all while serving as one of the most reliable and intelligent defenders in the country.
Jan Villegas
One of the top goalkeepers in the NJCAA, Villegas delivered a season defined by elite shot-stopping and composure under pressure. He posted a 16-1-1 record, recorded 9 shutouts, and finished with a 0.70 goals-against average and an .817 save percentage. His command of the box and game-changing saves made him a clear First Team selection.

Sergio Jaramillo
Jaramillo earned Third Team All-American honors after a highly productive season in the attack. He tallied 9 goals, 6 assists, and 24 points, while shooting 31% from the field and hitting the target on 82.8% of his shots. His versatility and steady two-way play were essential to Phoenix College's balanced system.
