The Phoenix College Bears Men's Soccer continued their dominant run, defeating Paradise Valley Community College 6–1 on the road Tuesday afternoon to improve to 12–1 overall and 9–1 in conference play.
Phoenix College opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a goal from Adan Rodriguez, assisted by Cruzeiro Cruz. After a 1–0 halftime lead, the Bears exploded for five second-half goals, putting the match out of reach.
Tiernan Nicewander led the way with two goals. Additional goals came from Kosei Sasaki, Aciel Martinez, and Isaiah Begazo to seal the commanding win.
The Bears outshot PVCC 19–5 with 11 shots on goal and recorded five corner kicks. Goalkeeper Jan Villegas tallied three saves in a full 90-minute effort.
Phoenix College's attack proved too much for the Pumas, as the top-ranked Bears extended their win streak and continued to showcase their offensive depth.
