Men’s Soccer Holds No. 1 in NJCAA Division II in Week Four

Phoenix, Ariz. — September 22 — The Phoenix College Bears remain the top team in the NJCAA Division II Men's Soccer rankings for Week Four, improving their perfect 7-0 start to the season. The Bears are now 5-0 in ACCAC conference play and 6-0 on their home field.


Top Performers

  • Raul Martinez leads the squad in scoring now with 5 goals and 1 assist (11 points), showing a sharp finishing touch.

  • Jhoan Soto has also been impressive, contributing 4 goals and 3 assists in six games.

  • Sergio Jaramillo continues to impress with a perfect SOG percentage, tallying 4 goals and 2 assists among his chances.

  • Tiernan Nicewander has contributed 3 goals and 2 assists, frequently making key plays and producing game-winners.


Defensive & Goalkeeping Highlights

  • The Bears have allowed only 3 goals in 7 matches, a sign of their strong defensive framework.
