Phoenix, Ariz. – September 17, 2025 — The Phoenix College Bears improved to 6-0-0 overall (4-0-0 ACCAC) with a dominant 5-0 win over Paradise Valley Community College at Hoy Stadium on Wednesday night.
The Bears struck early and often.

In just the 42nd second of the match, Tiernan Nicewander scored off a pass from Alan Garibaldy to put Phoenix ahead 1-0.

Easton Elzinga, assisted by Nicewander, found the net in the 15th minute.

Sergio Jaramillo extended the lead in the 29th minute with a goal set up by Aciel Martinez.

Before halftime, Jordin Figueroa added another, assisted by Raul Martinez, to make it 4-0.

The Bears closed out scoring early in the second half when Jaramillo converted a chance from Bryan Aceves in the 49th minute.
The offense racked up 16 shots with 14 on target, meanwhile the defense kept Paradise Valley off the board completely. Goalkeeper Xavier Rawls and backup Jan Villegas combined for the shutout, allowing only 3 total shots by the Pumas.
