Phoenix College Head Softball Coach Heinz Mueller announced that seven sophomores from the 2026 team have signed or verbally committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at four-year colleges and universities.

The student-athletes are:

  • Kyla Kim (Infielder) – Park University
  • Gianna Baca – Westcliff University
  • Katelyn Larney (Infielder) – West Virginia Wesleyan University

The group leaves behind an impressive legacy at Phoenix College, helping the Bears compile a 92-21 overall record over the past two seasons. During that span, the team captured the 2025 conference championship and finished ninth at the 2025 NJCAA National Tournament.

"These young ladies have had great success over the past two years at Phoenix College," Mueller said. "They will bring great tradition and pride to the colleges they have chosen with their outstanding leadership on and off the field. I am very proud to have coached these young ladies. Congratulations to all of them."
